For the future plugins released, we are going to start distributing via the desktop client, as all plugins cannot be distributed via the installer and building an installer for each plugin is not very elegant.
The idea is to have a custom plugins tab in the client app, in this tab the user will be able to see all plugins available on our server, install and update plugins, as well as activating the licenses.
To create this tab, we should re-use the preliminary work that has been done for the "plugins backup" feature, for which we have already implemented the download and installation of plugins.
For the factory plugins, the structure will be slightly different but the concept is the same in regards to the download and installs.
