Below are issues noticed while testing the offline collections.
This was tested as follows:
  • Logged into the app
  • Turned Wifi off
  • Tested Offline collections
  • Turned Wifi on again
  • Further testing

1. New label:
When creating the collection Offline the "new" label is not always displayed.
This is displayed only once the collection is actually registered by the server

2. "Add to" list empty:
After creating the collection offline, it is impossible to add datas, since the "add to" list is empty.
This list is populated only when logging out of the app annd logging in again in online mode.

For now it seems that offline collections are working only once the collection has been registered by the server when the app was online.
Note: I have not yet tested for folders and packs, but it might have the same issues.

Hello,

Below is some more feedback:
The test scenario is:
  • a.Logged into the app
  • b.Turned Wifi off
  • c.Created new Offline collection
  • d. bind files to offline collection
  • e. Turned Wifi on again
  • f. Turned Wifi off again
  • g. Creating new Offline collection by importing files
  • h. turned Wifi on again

1. bug after online upload empty list:
At step e, the collection is now uploaded to the server.
After this step, the collection details page shows empty results.
It is needed to refresh the page a few times by using filters to make the files appear again

2. always 0 sounds:
In the 2 lines of description below the collection's thumbnail, the offline collection always displayed "0 sounds"
It is needed to restart the app to display the correct number of sounds.

3. doesn't respond to local filter:
Not sure if this is related to offline collections or not, but the local filter always displays empty results in the personal grid view.
In list view the local items are displayed correctly.
